Hi everyone, I just logged in again today, and noticed my background verification was completed earlier this month (April 7). Last update according to the site was April 8. Does anyone know what the next step is and when the citizenship test will be?

Also if anyone could please update the tracker, thank you.

Same timeline as mine except my application was submitted of Sep 3rd and Background check on April 8th. I am still waiting for the test update. Some people received it just after, others before background check. Hard to tell when exactly and they dont seem to be processing our apps in a logical sequence.
Lets hope it moves faster .

Just contacted IRCC and the agent was very nice and patient, my case is being handled by Winnipeg Office.
I got test invite from DN MBSK CIT Scheduling / Planification CIT MBSK RN (IRCC) - IRCC.DNPNTCITScheduling-PlanificationCITPTNRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca.

No, you need FP letter to do FP because when I submitted my FP at my local police station, the staff typed some info from the FP letter I brought.

Did you check your junk box? I received the FP letter after one hour my tracker was updated.

Some did including me. But please keep in mind that it depends on your processing location workload. You should be getting an update soon for test. Follow previous months applicants from Vancouver to see where they are. that would give you an idea.

FYI, I'm from Fredericton and this is my timeline:
Application type: Paper based
Application: Family (3)
Location:New Brunswick
Application submitted: Sept 24, 2021
Application received: Sept 27, 2021
AOR : Dec 07, 2021
Test invite : Apr 6, 2022
Test taken : Apr 8, 2022 (Passed)

I have a simple question, I am over the age for a test ,finished and sent my FP ( not yet received ) do they still do interviews ? Anyone in same category ? Or what’s the next step ? Appreciate some input

Thanks, yeah I was looking at the pattern and some got the test invite a few days after. I was worried I missed it but last update on my profile was April 8, and no emails even in junk folder. We just have to wait at this point. I'll update here if I get a test invite, hopefully we get ours soon

I thought I missed the e-mail too but it looks like they don't process applications based on when they were submitted. We might end up waiting longer than 2022 applicants but nothing we can do. Its frustrated though. I will keep you posted of I hear anything

You probably should call IRCC if you received nothing. I successfully called them on Thursday 9:30am CST after two times failure to connect.

A quick question - multiple entries/ exits into Canada from USA will complicate my case, especially my physical presence?
