Hi all,
I am enrolling for a course in Sheridan college - Hazel McCallion Campus (Sep 2022 intake).
Need advice for rental accommodation near it.
Is Mississauga expensive or affordable to live in?
If expensive, can someone suggest some alternative?

Will you be owning a car? If you are dependent on public transportation you are pretty limited on how far you can go. Anywhere on the GTA will be expensive compared to many regions in Canada.

No, I won't be owning a car.
As you said, I will be dependent on the public transport for commute.
And, will Brampton be cheaper in terms of rent as compared to Mississauga?

Not really and you’d have to factor in increased transportation costs if you were living in Brampton. You will need to look at public transportation access in general no matter where you live because some areas are not very accessible by public transportation.

Mississauga tends to be expensive and Brampton isn't any cheap either and since you don't own a vehicle it is better you find something closer to the college. I have a Realtor if you want who may be able to help you with this.
