I am just reading that minister sean fraser announced yesterday that for family reunification all those included in the principle applicant and is outside canada will be eligible for open work permit

Any one who has knowledge of this can please share some input please

This has nothing to do with spousal sponsorship.

This relates to economic immigration programs like Express Entry and PNP.

Hmmm i remember the prime minister of canada mandate letter for immigration said that they'll implement a program to give temporary status to spouse abroad to come and live in canada until the sponsorship is decided so I'm hoping it'll really happen
