Hey guys, its been over 3 months since my husband completed his medicals and there has been no update. Anyone else in the same situation? I don't know if I should be worried or if this is normal.

It has been 6 months for me since medical, and I am still waiting.

I understand how you feel. My wife and I have been away from each other for more than 10 months. That is the sad reality

I wish I could speak to someone from Singapore VO and tell them 'Come on now, it has been such a long time!' We don't have any children, this is our first and only marriage, for both me and my spouse. Our file is straightforward and I don't understand why it's taking so long. We have provided more than enough proof to support our relationship.

Hi Guys,

I am applying sponsorship PR under family class through online portal, and for uploading photo below things I got in their portal.

• Photos: The back of one (1) photo must contain the following and must be uploaded.
  • bear the date the photo was taken;
  • bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography studio;
  • The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information.

Now I am wondering that, in online portal we have to upload the photo so photo will be digital so how photographer will write his studio name in back of the photo?

My husband, who is in India, just got an interview request today and it's at 10:30 am Indian time which is like 12 am at night for me here in Ontario Canada. Do you think they actually call the sponsor at such an absurd time? Has anyone else had something like this? Do they always call the sponsor or do they just conduct the interview with the pa?

I don’t believe the sponsor is required to be at the interview except it was specified on the invite.

So they won't call me? Like its not certain... I was just wondering if a sponsor has ever received a call during the PAs interview?

I honestly doubt. Infact I’m over 80% sure they won’t call you (if it was not specified on the interview invite that you are to be in attendance). Your spouse needs to study your application and make sure he knows all the details that was filled. There are a couple forums where ppl talk about the possible questions that could be asked( even questions you don’t imagine them asking will be asked). So keep note of the important dates, and how you both met and relationship progress. In summary, know everything about yourselves( job, salary, hobbies etc). Goodluck
