I also received my ready for visa email yesterday but my status is not updated yet. What does your status currently say? Mine still says Medical passed. Also, do you understand the Appendix form A in the email sent? Are we supposed to print directly from the email? FSW-O, AOR October 6, CPC-Ottawa.

The status won’t change till your passport is stamped.
For the appendix A . I got a pdf copy on a group I’m in.

No but i did upfront medical then everything seems to go through

The status usually doesn't change until the counterfoil is generated in the passport/your passport copy has been verified if you are from a visa excempt country.
My passport is with IRCC since March 31 and my portal still says in process.

Nope. No progress yet. Still with IRCC. It's been more than a week now and they are closed this friday. Hopefully I get something by Thursday.

I'm not 100% sure but I vaguely remember reading that COPR cannot be extended. I belevie the COPR is usually 1 year from the medical expiration date and maybe 6 months if they extended medicals. My original medicals was Oct 2020, if IRCC uses that I beleive I'll have until Oct 2022. I also did an upfront remedical which was updated in my portal. My upfront was in Feb 2022 so I believe I'll get mine until Jan 2023. I'll keep you updated once I see my counterfoil generated.

Also it's okay to travel to Canada even if H1-B is picked and start date is Oct. The only thing that differs will be you'll not automatically get ported (Change of Status denied) to H1-B in Oct. You'll remain in whatever visa status you are currently in until you leave the country and get stamped to begin your H1-B. I'd suggest you start looking at visa dates in Ottawa, right now they are available for March 2023. Once you get COPR activate it and return to US in your current visa status and when your H1-B comes through in OCT, you'll be told if your change of status has been granted or denied.

I myself have traveled while my H1-B application was in process back in 2018. My COS was denied, but another friend who also travelled got hers approved and directly ported to H1-B. So don't worry about H1-B and travel since PR to canada is a once in a lifetime opportunity that is worth it.

Got an ADR (Schedule A and additional family information ) on April 13 and promptly submitted. Received a email saying we got your email. Thank you! But the online portal still says awaiting documents. Does anyone know how long after you submit does the status change?

I have two questions

I got a mail regarding meds Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E) and the status changed to

• April 8, 2022 You passed the medical exam.

There's also an attached PDF form IMM 1017E

Do I have to perform any actions?

I also got an adr mail, it's Schedule A and pcc
It says:
From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate. Please provide an updated Police Certificate from your current country of residence. This must be received at this office by: 2022/05/13

For the last five years I live in the same country.
Should I provide the updated PCC from the current country only?

Usually validity of COPR is 6 months. Not sure how your friend got 1 month validity. Probably his passport expiration date issue.
For me also I need h1b stamping and not sure what will be the COPR validity.
Let me know once you know your COPR validity.

Hello guys, thanks for all the support over the time. I got my visa and COPR (expiry 1 year, kinda shocked it is so long).
I have a question, on my COPR it says the country of residence in the United States of America. But I moved to India last year I did inform them about a change of address and my address is updated correctly(Indian address).

Should I raise a webform for the country of residence as India ? or is this okay?

Please advice.
