HI All,

Anyone still waiting for the 1st update after submitting the application ? I submitted application on 3Nov 2021 and still have not received any kind of update. Anything I can do to expedite ? I see people after my submission date have received some sort of update/ ghost update .

I have not received any kind of update..

I am still waiting. Filed nov 28 and still nothing.

We received first time a letter from IRCC with temporary Application number asking us to upload IMM5406 for both my inlaws on April 1st 2022 at 10pm. As in last form we only added Birth years and not birth dates and few other items were missing.
I just submitted the requested forms again today (April 11th 2022) via email as requested in the letter.

Can anyone please confirm do I need to do anything on the PR portal ? or just need to wait and they will take care of it once they process the email i sent ?

Thank you very much, appreciate your response! Thats the thing I directly received sponsor approval after ghost update. No request for bio metrics or medical, is that normal?

Looks like you don't need bio for your parents. Do they have dependants in this application that haven't done bio yet?
medicals can come any time before or after the sponsor approval. don't worry about it. just keep checking your email.

medical passed - April 5 2022 (they considered the medicals given in 2019 for super visa)
received Sponsorship approval in mailbox on April 6, letter is dated as April 4th.

Now - they are asking for the pending documents(which include PCC). The most recent appointment I could get for a PCC from India is for May 2 2022 and I imagine it will take at least another 20 days to get it back

Question - Is there a deadline to submit PCC after receiving the Sponsorship approval letter?
Weird that they sent the Sponsorship approval letter in physical mail rather than an email. is it common?

I received request for options C printout for 2018,2019 and 2020 on March 17 then AOR on March 25 and request for 5768 and 1283 & proof of relationship between sposor and applicant on April 8. So I did not get request in same email.
IMM 1283 form is also Fiancial evlution form but this form the period is precedding last 12 months from the application date.
What is your time line and what you recived the request for?

You don't need to. I also get same AOR but I got requested email for those form and another document after AOR.

Hello,

My mom (principal applicant) received CIC's ghost email (see below) on April 7, 2022. However, when I log in, I found the status as 'Returned'. On clicking it for details, the form IMM 5475 shows 'incomplete' and so does the Consent and Declaration. Rest of the forms are marked as 'Complete'.

I've not filled in IMM5476. The online portal does not allow me to do anything.

What should I do? Do I (Sponsor) have to link my GC Key to the PGP application? If yes, how? I am not sure about the next steps. Any help appreciated.

22-Nov : Nothing Yet. I've been patient till this time but now getting a bit frustrated. It is close to 5 months since submission. Not even sure if there is any action I can take apart from waiting and watching. I keep telling myself I'm lucky at least my application got picked up in the lottery .

via email. They only send by regular mail if you did not include your email address.
