Hello.
I have a question. If I fail in a phd program and fired from the university, do i have 150 days to attend a new university or not?
in fact, now I have a new admission letter from a university. I don't know it is better to resign from my current university and join the new university or wait to fail? which one is better?
my concern is that if now I resign, they withdraw from my current semester, so there is a gap from January to May.
do you know when the 150 days for finding a new university starts?
can anybody help me on this issue?

Are you speculating this will happen? yes 150days will apply but i guess you will need to inform IRCC of the changes of the DLI and Program of Study. In future you need to overcome "progression factor" when you apply for the pgwp

yes. I am sure my supervisor will fail me again. so, i will be fired from the university in next two weeks. but, I have an admission letter from another university in same level. now I dont know it is better to wait to be fired or right now resign from university and join a new one?
if i resign now, do you know when exactly 150 days starts? from the time that resigned or from the starting time?
regards

150days kicks in from your last day of studying in current DLI to the first day of your new DLI

So, it is very important to know the university policy? am I right? I should ask them if I resign now, they will withdraw my current semester or not. right?

When do you anticipate to join other DLI if they fail you? and what if your supervisor wont fail you?

I will join the new DLI on May first, 2022. He will fail me undoubtedly! 100 percent!!!!! I am concerned that if he fails me, and I fire from university, IRCC ask me to leave Canada.
my new DLI is very better than the previous one.

Provided you have letter of Acceptance from the new DLI within 150days it wont be a problem. If they expel you, there'll report you as part of regulatory reporting, so it is important to update IRCC with new DLI and Program of Study. Worst case after 150, they wont ask you leave CAnada but you will need to change status to Visitor.

I got my new LOA. but I have some concerns.
The previous university mentioned that I am excluded from the program since January 4, 2022, but they informed me on April 20. The next point is that just today I changed my DLI.
during January 2022 and April 2022, I was working as a part-time worker (20Hrs). is there any limitation for working for the students who leave university?
more specifically, if a student gets fired, is he/she able to work within 150 days? if not, what will happen if he/she worked during this gap
? get fired from Canada?
recently, I am hearing a lot about Phd students who their study permit extension or PGWP was rejected.
thank you in advance

Today is April 11. Please check the timeline, to make calculation more accurate.

There seems to be more to this story. Something must have happened to be kicked out of a PhD program.
