Hi,

I have submitted my EE profile in which I have selected "No" in spouse work experience as we were not getting any points for her experience. However she has more than 2 years of experience and she is currently working.

Now I have received an ITA and I am planning to mention that experience under personal history section and keep work history section blank (none) as I did in my EE profile. But some of my friends who already have gone through the process told me that it might be considered as misrepresentation. As per them I should have mentioned my wife's work experience in EE profile itself even if I am not getting any points. And now If I mention none in work history section and show the experience in personal history section then it will create conflict and might be considered as misrepresentation.

So I am not sure what should I do? Should I add spouse's experience in work history section and create conflict with my EE profile submission or should I keep "No" in work history section and mention the experience in personal history section? Please suggest.

You can do it and its absolutely fine .

You can mention in personal history as foreign work experience of spouse add no credits. Further for contentment while submission of documents you may add a line in LOE saying my wife is a full time employee etc...

Hi D, What did you finally decide to do? I am in same situation :
I am the spouse of Principal Applicant, in EE profile my work experience is 'No', however in personal history section in Schedule A I am not sure if I can cover my job experience in India.

Kindly advise basis your experience please. Thank you!

Totally fine. I am the principal applicant and my spouse put her experience in personal history. Her experience was not relevant to CRS anyway. In fact, I also put my own current job in personal history since I didn’t need it for eligibility or CRS. We checked what we were doing with an experienced consultant.
