No, mine was different. IOM Manila informed me hat the test is negative and did another x-ray. After that, my medical passed after a week of filing my SP application. Then, when I got my stamped passport from VFS, it came with the medical surveillance letter, requiring me for another x-raywhen I land in Canada.

Oh alrite mine is a PR application so i guess the process may differ. Thanks nonetheless.

Please can someone guide us through we really are worried we applied from Pakistan and got our medical done on 29 july 2021 and they asked for sputum test from my husband which was done on Aug 2 on Aug 20 aug we got additional medical email from India which our doc said nothing about he didn't even guide us properly he gave us a call on 24th Aug saying we got email saying you don't have a second x-ray that's it now we are so confused what's happening if they don't want x-ray mean that our test are negative we passed medical or what

Sputum reports takes 6-8 weeks, its a good sign (most probably) if you don’t need a second X ray, after 8 weeks if the report is negative most probably they will clear your medical, but depends completely on what is written in your file. Was X ray mentioned in it previously or any other tests except smears and sputum ?
also panel physicians are like that, specially in India, they don’t really explain anything properly !

Where do I find my file I'm in Pakistan please help us we are so worried. We don't know when we went for medical the doc just scared us saying he will delay our file and said that come on Nov 4th if your positive don't come take medicine for 6th month then we will perform a medical again now on 24th Aug he just said we don't need 2nd x-ray but everyone else performed x-ray again does that mean we are positive

I don’t know what’s on it, but if you meet the panel physician for the second time for additional medical test they usually give you a copy of what of IRCC has said and what additional tests they want

See that the problem our doctor was the worst he didn't even guide us properly and we didn't meet him the 2nd time on our 1st x-ray he said come 2mrw for sputum but then said come on Monday 2nd Aug to give sputum what happens next what we do what he will do he didn't say anything and now we got an email from India saying additional test and he hasn't even replied to it yet it's been 3 week since we have been trying to email him

Not yet. I believe if the passport request is received then it means the visa is 99.9% given.

I want to get some idea as to how much time does it take to process the medical and then send the passport request.

The test was submitted to IRCC on 15th Dec. Till today there is no communication.
