Hi everyone, we applied outland application in Dec 2021, got AOR in March 2022 and received biometrics request today, any idea when medical will be asked for?

I applied paper application for outland spousal sponsorship via new IRCC portal. Here's my timeline
My husband compiled the documents and FedEx on 14th Nov 2021 (from Toronto to Nova Scotia)
Application Received - 17 Nov 2021
Received Enquiry - 20 Dec 2021
Biometrics Request - Feb 17 2022
AOR - Feb 17 2021
Medical Request - Feb 20 2022
Biometric submitted - Feb 22 2022
Eligibility Passed (completed) - Feb 25 2022
Background Verification (completed) - Feb 25 2022
Pre-arrival - Feb 25 2022
Medical Submitted - 11 March 2022
Medical Passed - 20 March 2022
Ghost Update 1 - 27 March 2022
Application Update 2 (COPR Document number generated) - 5 April 2022
COPR expiry date on portal - Apr 19, 2027
It's been over 3 days and I'm yet to receive PPR in spite of having CoPR document number assigned. May I know has anyone been through this situation ?
Not to sound desperate and with all due respect to all the people who have been patiently waiting for years, should my partner call IRCC or should I wait for another week or two before taking any action ?

Just got a few questions while preparing to send in our inland spousal sponsorship.
1. When we choose the "No" option on the PDF files and print them out, they are all grayed out (no and yes and some other fields) the same way. It doesn't really show that we clicked 'No' except that everything is blank. Is that supposed to be OK? Or are we supposed to pen it in manually ourselves?
2. My wife (the applicant) is on a working holiday visa and we are sending in an open work permit application along with it. In the work permit application, it says that if they are in the IEC program, then we should provide proof of extension of the travel insurance for the "intended period of stay". How does this work for when we are applying for PR with the OWP? Do we need to show it? Extend 1 year? Kind of unsure on this one.
3. For stuff like showing proof of joint utility accounts and sending money to each other, do we just give them the documents, or do we need to highlight areas of interest? For example, we have the bank account history with e-transfers to each other after our pay day, but amongst the other information that's irrelevant, it's a bit hard to find. Would it be better to highlight the area that shows this information? How do people usually go about this?
4. IMM 5669 asks for the addresses the applicant has lived in for the past 10 years. Does it matter in what order we fill this in? We went with Oldest address first to most recent towards the bottom of the list.

Hello, I'm new here. I am a PR in Canada. I have applied before the pandemic to sponsor my husband. My husband spent time in the US prison and was deported to his home town about 15 years ago. We have 4 children together. Everything was done and he received his pre-arrival last year January but our application to sponsor him was declined thereafter. Is this something that normally happens? why would they send the pre-arrival letter but still deny the application? We have put in the appeal but since we sent the money to the lawyer we have not heard back from him nor have we received a date for the appeal hearing. Do you think that there will be a positive outcome of the appeal? Are we missing something here? It's been about 3 years since we have seen each other in person and I have all the kids here with me. my husband needs to get here.
Before you explain all the story, the main point is: what's the reason they state in the denial letter?
Also, note that Pre-arrival letter is an information letter; but not a final decision.
By looking at your timeline, your application is being processed quickly compared to most of the applicants. I think you should wait for PPR, this should come any time soon.
My lawyer advised that it was denied due to not all documents being submitted. He claimed that he submitted all the documents. We also paid him to appeal but we have not heard from him since the end of last year. medical, police reference, biometrics, all these things have been done
My concern is, why did they request medicals etc if all documents weren't submitted. Is the lawyer shitting with me
Request a copy of ALL documents submitted and the correspondence to/from IRCC. Is your lawyer a Canadian lawyer?
Since you didn't specify - the two key things to know are what your spouse spent time in prison for, and what the reason for deportation was. It's also important to know whether/if he disclosed these things when applying to Canada.
(YOu may have reason to doubt your lawyer - but get copies of everything from the lawyer, everything).
Thank you. He served time for drugs and was deported there after as he was not a US Citizen. I will engage another Attorney and have them request the documents.
As I said, it's VERY important that all of this was disclsoed.
You will likely need an attorney anyway - and I'd suggest a Canadian one. The obvious possibility is that he was considered inadmissible because of his criminal convictions. This will depend on the severity of the criminal charge and some other factors. If so, he'll need some form of criminal rehabilitation. (About which I know only a tiny bit, you'll have to research.) But note, you still need the correspondence - the refusal letter - to determine what the reason was.

The problem Im facing now is, Im unable to login to and check the status online from which I have submitted my spousal application, also unable to reset the password as well. Raised multiple web-forms, But nu luck.

Oh, I see. I usually call between 2:30-3:30 PM (Canadian time) and it goes through. Also, did you try to create the spousal application tracker account?
