I finally got my CBSA notes ordered in Jan. I still didn't receive the notes from IRCC ordered at the same time. Good thing I applied for both at the same time to see which one comes first. Anyway, from what I see, the movement in our case was triggered by the email to the local MP. Prior to that, the notes just kept saying on many lines "due date pushed to 30 days" even after having everything passed. Imagine that! They just kept sitting on it as they couldn't be bothered to send a request for updated PCCs, Schedule As and Remedicals. All of which expired because they were sitting on the files in the first place!

Might be worth a try to write to the MPs to speed things up for those waiting for a long time.
Mine is the same “ due date pushed by 30 days”
Do you know how can i find MPs to contact??

If they wanted to solve this, there were many things they could have done about this. Not to mention land and resources aren't the problem for this country.

The problem is we are entering a new age of feudalism. The ones that make the rules are part of the ones own the houses and see houses as a tool of investment and not a place for a human being to live.

My country has already gone through this transformation. The only way you can own a new house is by selling your existing one. It's impossible to own one on a salary even if your earn well.

The only sad thing about Canada going through this you will giving up 40 to 50 percent of your income in tax in various forms and the government is actually expected to help you live a decent life.

That is why reddit is full of Canadians ready to move down south where opportunities are more equal for even. So much for being socialists.
Dude, it's just immigration that is a problem, if US introduce express entry level program like Canada then no one would prefer to go to Canada.

That’s what I feel as well. I see conservatives railing on housing but there are things they could do provincially in Ontario and they don’t care. Why? Because the only way to help new home owners is by hurting the equity of current owners, especially those using housing as their retirement savings. They need to pick a side and be transparent about it. Housing prices need to half in Ontario/BC for it to be affordable to middle class. No way in hell home investors lobbying will let that happen.

october 2018 folks waiting too. Check the thread. Some contacted the MP's and witnessed some movements

A little movement wouldn't work for me at this point. My US visa is ending and I need to leave fast. And there hasn't been much progress on my Canadian work permit either. Mandamus is the only thing that pretty much ensures a decision within 2 months.

I should've done it in early March when I had a chat with my lawyer but then IRCC sent re-medical+ADR requests and I got fooled by them again.

Canadian Federal Debt = 942 Billion
US Federal Debt = 26 Trillion

Don't be fooled by the rainbows and sunshine. We're running a ponzi scheme here and our day of reckoning is around the corner.

wtf - that's 31000 CAD debt per person for every Canada citizen and 72,000 debt per person for every US citizen.
