6 months of file lodged and still waiting!

I haven’t received any update on my student application from 6 months 22nd Oct was my lodge date and I done my biometric on 22nd Nov for Jan intake and I transfer it to May intake, April started still no update, it shows under processing,
why processing taking so much time?

No, I actually started remote studies in Sep 2021, I'm currently in my second semester.
