I noticed that most of the online applicants who have received test invite are from Ontario.

Not sure, if the office that works on BC applications is slow/overloaded or if its just a coincidence.

I tried calling the 1888-242-2100 number a few times to get some clarity and context about the 27 months processing timeline detail, but never been able to get through a live agent. Does anyone have any other numbers that I may try? If I can get to a live person and ask this question, I'll share what I've learned with everyone here.

Since most of us August 2021 cohort have already completed the exam, really it's just how much longer we'd have to wait for oath. I've commented earlier that our language test, prohibitions and physical presence are virtually already done, and feeling weird that it'll stretch out as long as 27 months. Would appreciate some context from the horse's mouth instead of us guessing and fretting over here.

This answer simply doesn't exist, no matter who you call or ask. As for the 27 months, IRCC nevever said that's how long you have to wait. Anyone understanding it this way or thinking that the processing went from 12 months to 27 is miserably wrong. They're comparing apples to oranges as far as what the numbers refer to and mean.
