Got IELTS overall 6 but got 5.5 for one module

I got overall 6 in ielts but got 5.5 for reading can i get visa??For which type of visa should I apply to get visa?? If so, university offer letter will be ok for visa. Please suggest me!! Thankss

If you have a LOA then you are applying for a study permit. No one can tell you if you will get visa but 5.5 is low. Other factors go into a decision - education progression, career advancement, funds, language, ties to home country.

Sometimes if your profile is very strong. You can’t apply through SDS stream since your IELTs are too low.

Don’t know what that means. You have admission to a college or university so apply for a study permit.

You aren’t eligible for SDS so you apply for a study permit (non-SDS).

1. Probably not for a public university, check out public colleges for their requirement.
