Hi everyone, can anyone please help/guide with the below situation?
My mother is currently in Canada on a valid visitors visa.
Today, we got her supervisa application response and she was approved. This application was submitted long ago when she was in her home country . However, at the time of the approval/ PPR request, she was present in Canada .
Does anyone know if :
  1. the passport can be submitted to the VAC in Ottawa and if to do so a prior approval is required from IRCC?
  2. Does she have to travel back to the country of residence and then send the passport to the concerned VO (Abu dhabi)
  3. Can she send the PP from Canada to Abu dhabi (VO)?

Thanks,

I sent my parents passport Supervisa Application and IRCC received them on 24th March.

How much time it takes for them to process and send back the passports?

Thanks

Hi! Did your create new portal account under your name ? And submitted Representative form Or your mom’s name?
No. My mom submitted through her account while I guided her.

Supervisa (mom already had expired Canada and US visitor visas). Applied via CGKey

Feb 28 2022: Application submitted
March 2: BIL
March 9: Bio submitted
March 10: Upfront medical exam
March 14: Update medical exam report through webform
March 21: Medical passed
March 28: Biometrics valid letter and PPR
Hi I have similar timelines as yours. My parents never did a medical exam. They neither received any medical requests. But today I received a request to provide medical insurance. Does that make sense? Will they still be asked to provide medical exam?

yeah if your parents applied for super visa,
medical exam is one of the requirements.

Thanks, so hopefully need to wait couple of more days.
How can i contact in case it starts to take more time?

My parents passport reached to ircc New Delhi on 23rd March and still it's under process for stamping. I also booked there tickets for April 21st. I hope it should come by that time. Please keep posted as soon you get.

But I Medical is not listed as one of the requirements when I apply for visa through GCKey. Its not in the checklist and I was never sent a request to do medical. Just request for Biometrics and later medical insurance.

And what does "Upfront Medical" means? does this imply I might be asked for medical later, so its better to get it done beforehand??

Upfront medical means your parents take the exam before CIC requests. The sooner the better, to shorten the processing time.
