What’s the procedure of renewing trv from inside Canada.
Should I send passport for stamping after getting approved. If so, how long does it usually take?

You can't renew a TRV. If your TRV is expiring, then you need to apply for a new TRV following the same process you used to get the first one. Only certain people qualify to renew their TRVs from within Canada. Are you just here as a visitor or do you have another status here such as a study permit?

If, on the other hand, you're looking to remain in Canada longer beyond the allowed stay - you would then apply for a visitor visa extension (not a new TRV).

I applied for a study permit extension on Jan 25. Have not received it yet. My current trv is expiring in July. And I want to travel to my home country for the summer. I just want to know what the procedure is after getting trv approved. Should I send passport to ircc office for stamping or is it something else

You need to be holding a valid TRV in order to enter Canada. You need to apply for a new TRV. Note that processing times are generally quite long right now. Follow the instructions here:

Hello,Do you recommend doing an upfront medical or just wait for a request from ircc
