SOWP inside Canada - can I apply with PGWP

Hello everyone,

I'm going to graduate from college and apply for PGWP, my partner is going to visit me this April.

If I get a job offer before graduating, can my partner apply SOWP with me together when I apply to PGWP?
or do I need to apply for PGWP first, and help her apply for SOWP after I get the work permit?

You need to already be working in the job and be able to provide 3 pay slips in order for your partner to apply for the SOWP. You won't be able to start working full time until you have submitted the PGWP application. So for that reason the short answer to your question is most likely no. You can't apply for the SOWP based on the job offer alone. You need to actually be working in the job and be able to provide the 3 pay slips for the SOWP application to be possible.

1. No s/he can apply with you. You need a job NOC O, A or B and at least 2 pay cheques for the application. You say partner, are you married? If not then you have had a break if intend to apply as Common-Law.

I. Currently on pgwp and i recently got married. I have a Noc A job (software dev) and i applied sowp for my wife(outland)

She is a make up artist but has no proof to show that since she kinda works for herself.

Do i need to write a letter to show intent to return back to homw country after her permit expires?

And if i do, what do I need to put in the letter? She does not have proof of employment and no land on her name.

She has no family apart from me in Canada.

Can I apply for SOWP, if I am working as Teller in Bank (NOC 6551).

I am currently pursuing my MBA and soon going to apply for work permit. I am planning to apply SOWP after I get my PGWP.
