Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2021

Hello All,

I am new to this forum, following is my family (parents) sponsorship status & timeline:

1. Application submitted via online PGP portal is Nov 7, 2021
2. Received ghost email (it was blank at the time of submission) - Jan 17, 2022
3. Linked application in IRCC (GC Key) - Feb 13, 2022
4. Received Biometric request for both parents and 1 dependent on Mar 03, 2022
5. Received application to sponsor eligibility approval letter by regular mail(post)on Mar 07 2022
6. Received update on GC Key : Biometric completed on Mar 08 2022

I applied on Oct 21 and nothing yet!

Same here applied October 20, 2021.
I guess the case worker assigned to us is not checking our applications and was already assigned to them for sure.

I have a question i applied on december 04 2021.yesterday I received an email that status has been updated please check it on ircc portal with current credentials.when i login into portal there is nothing i was able to see..

I applied on December 04,2021

Oct 04, no updates. Unfortunately, there is no order to follow. Someone applied in December has already received biometric, medical request and sponsorship approved. Someone applied very early (like us, in October) has nothing, it all depends on when case worker assigned start to check the application. The only indicator which we can tell whether our application make any progress is Ghost Email. Let’s wait for it.

Yes, Ghost email, and also it means they have started processing your submitted file. shortly you might receive an email with the Application number to check the status online.

Here is my timeline:
File submitted : October 9, 2021
IMM 5406 requested: November 23, 2021
IMM 5406 submitted: November 25, 2021
Ghost email: February 23, 2022
Application link to GC key: March 17,2022
option c requested: March 17,2022

In GC key and PR portal status shows submitted. Application number is there in GC key.

I already sign authorization for CRA. But still got options C printout reques.

As bellow:
Our office requires a copy of your OPTION C Printout for the tax years 2018 , 2019 and 2020 in order to
render a financial evaluation. This document is different from the Notice of Assessment and is available free-of- charge by calling the Canada Revenue Agency at 1-800-959-8281. You MUST ensure to include line 150 of your Option C.
This must be received at this office by: 2022/04/18

I will receive it in 3 weeks. Until then wait…
Is anyone got requests for Option C printout ?

Try after 3 weeks. I am able to link it after 3 weeks.

In 3 weeks of ghost email you can link your application to GC key account.
