Hi everyone what are the chances of getting a work permit after your refugee case got rejected with all the appeals after it getting rejected as well ?
has anyone ever got a work permit after there refugee case was denied and had no status ?
Yes I did. I had my job so my lawyer at the time submitted the application alone with my 3last paystub and job letter.

My husband and I got Work Permit after Reugee Claim and all appeal failed.
Applied while the old one was still valid.
We attached a letter that we do not want to request welfare to provide for our kids (foreign)
We also attached H&C AOR.
Paper application. Received in the mail in 2 months. Good luck friend.

My refugee case got rejected and I currently have no status . I applied for a work permit again today but I am scared that I might get deported now that immigration have my address! I doubt my work permit will get approved. Any thoughts on this ????
Do you mean even judicial review was rejected?

If not yet gotten to judicial review stage you still qualify for a work permit but you will have to pay for it.

If the process like this he wait after one year bar much better than it because there is nothing different
Is that correct?
Ayna what’s your suggestion ?
I think the answer depends on whether he has strong grounds for a medical exemption. If he has strong grounds for a medical exemption (i.e. serious medical issue) backed by evidence, then requesting the exemption would make sense.

Economic grounds
Only economic grounds? This generally isn't regarded as a strong argument. Do you also have best interest of a child or something like that?
