It all started with a student visa in September 2010. Today, I received my citizenship certificate in the mail.

Please has anyone here have experience on too early applications or date miscalculation. I had interview on December 2021, I applied too early or some months early can any one tell me if they know some one with similar experience. If someone applied too early will my applications be returned or delayed? If delay how long can I wait ? Or should I reaplly again? Please can some one advise me on what to do or expect. Thanks very one in advance!

I had my citizenship oath ceremony today.I have one question.

The officer said something about writing the initials of her name somewhere ( either in the Oath form or may be in the subject of the email).
Can someone tell me where do I need to provide these initials please?

Hi you should be writing her name/initial in the subject of the email. That was the case for me (scarborough office).

received citizenship certificate today. Feb 17th I had my oath. NGF office and Ottawa applicant. The long long journey has finally come to an end. Had to wait 10+ months to get oath scheduled after passing the citizenship exam. All the very best to all of you!

Did my Oath on March 08 with Niagara office.

Received certificates today but Unfortunately they missed the kids certificates. During Oath I told clerk that it's a family application and he then confirmed but its messed up again. Have to follow Niagara office, let's see how much more time they need.

Question about status of minor application.

Me and my wife took tests around mid 2021 and our status changed to Decision Made in ECAS on Dec 17th, 2021. All except oath are shown as Complete in the tracker. But for our minor son, the ECAS still shows In Progress and tracker shows everything except Prohibitions as In Progress. There is no change of status after Dec 2021.

Is this normal? Can we expect oath invite for adults, when the status of minor's application is still showing In Progress. Anyone else had this same experience, could you please confirm.

Same situation here. Application sent Feb2020. My husband and I took the test on Feb2021. All completed but the oath. My daughter's status is all in progress. Last update april 2021. Our PR cards are already expired. It's frustating.

Update: Scheduled for ceremony on Mar 30. Finically. As I mentioned I filed for web form and send emails to PM and I think PM helps. They sent email back and signed a consent form and did an inquiry on my behalf. Have heard from them back since, but my status updated to ceremony in progress in 8 business days. I don't think that is a coincidence.
