Hey guys I need help I just received my passport after a long wait but they fucked up my name they misspell my name, I need a passport urgently how do I get this fixed please

I don't think there is anyway to get it urgently other than walking in to a passport office.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Did you mean that you signed your copy of ID instead of your guarantor?

Wow, so they have your certificate and an ID with your correct name, but still they managed to misspell your name?!! I would walk-in into the nearest passport office and ask them to re-print it urgently with the correct name

You need to have your guarantor sign the copy of the driving license on both sides or to send the original.

Yes. Just give yourself enough time to make sure you have the certificate by the appointment date. They do not ask if you already have your certificate.

Not tried a walk-in, but yesterday I got a call in response to my online booking request. On Sunday, I had tried to book an appointment at the Toronto Passport office.
The rep said that only urgent requests can be attended to at the passport office and since my request is not urgent I would be directed to a Service Ontario office.
She tried to book me at the College street Sevice Ontario and said that the earliest appointment available is 30 March.

As I mentioned, I sent an 'Status Update Request Form' on Feb 28. Received an email today with tracking details.

Passport received today. Here is an updated timeline:

- Application Sent: February 5th 2022
- Application Delivered: February 9th 2022
- Online Status Request: February 27th 2022
- CC Charged: March 2nd 2022 (Description: SC Passport Varennes)
- Online Status Response: March 9th 2022 (Tracking details of passport was provided in response)
- Passport Issue Date: March 8th 2022
- Passport + Citizenship Certificate Received: March 11th 2022 (Same envelope)

Yes, i posted earlier that i have received a call from PP office to update reference yesterday. After updating, they are going to send for printing and i should receive PP in 5-10 business days at max.

CC charged on 7 march. How about u?
