I applied for my parents visitor visa and got approval within 25 days.
they requested passport and my dad went to Ahmedabad VFS on May 2nd, 2024 to submit both the passports in person and then selected one way delivery option.
I booked the flights for 1st June 2024. The tickets are non-refundable. A couple of friends told me they received their parents passports in 2 weeks.
But, now I am researching and I see one month as well.
does anyone recently applied can give me realistic time line? Am I just dumb? I think I will be wasting 4500$ for nothing.
The last notification is this:
Your application, tracking ID No.20240502INA has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on Mon May 06 2024
And, the second last notification is this:
Your application, tracking ID No. 20240502INAMPKT13707 has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, New Delhi OC on Fri May 03 2024 and is in transit to the IRCC Office in New Delhi OC for processing. For further details, please contact the VAC helpline number or refer to our website at: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/India
