Work permit expiring - LMIA exemption or BOWP

Hi Dears, Just to confirm for PNP holder currently working in Canada, work permit is expiring soon, so applying for new one. For the type of permit it should be work permit with same employer and LMIA exemption or shall i choose BOWP (Bridging) and whats the difference in the two, if anyone can share experience it will be great.
