hi guys,
i just called CIC few minutes back and the lady on the phone confirmed that CIC has confirmed last night that it is a technical issue. she said that cic was in the process to send medical request to some applicants but they themselves have no idea how the the request has been sent to all the applicants who have applied for the pr. she said if it has been more than 6-7 months that you have applied for your permanent residency, there may b a chance that you can receive an actual medical request. and an official message will be sent to your account and email. if not, its ideal to wait for cic to send you the request. she said to wait for about 1 or 2 weeks to see that you get an official message. she also suggested that you may undergo upfront medicals but its best to wait for cic's indication as medicals are only valid for 12 months and on the occasion of any delay in the application. may result in re-medicals and its a waste of money and time. so lets keep our fingers crossed and see if it was an actual request or a technical glitch.
i am an Inland applicant- applied on 9th December 2016
received AOR on Feb 9th 2017
CIC requested for updated Schedule A - personal history part from my husband (primary applicant) as some info was missing on June 1st 2016.
submitted the document on 2nd June 2017 online in account.
Waiting for medical request hopefully
ALL THE BEST EVERYONE.
