Hello,

My express entry application status tracker shows all steps (eligibility, background verification, etc). complete as of April 24th, yet I have not received Portal 1 email.

1) Generally speaking, when should I expect to receive it?

2) I selected 'online' as the mode of communication on my express entry profile, so presume instead of an email, I will get a notice / letter on my IRCC online account?

3) Finally. I am planning to travel to the US during the week of May 20th. I remember reading on this forum that at some point in the process, I have to confirm my physical presence in Canada. Once I confirm my physical presence in Canada, am I allowed to leave, or must I remain through the rest of the process? (trip to the US would only be a week and I am a US citizen).
