Background: We have had 2 major bumps with the submitted police certificate ("wrong country") and medical exam (saying we never completed, but this was resolved). We are now in limbo as we await the 30 days for the new requested ACRO police certificate [extension date to January 15, 2023].


Thanks for sticking with our journey. It is getting stressful with the big gaps between responses from IRCC.

Congrats!!! Finally the PPR is here and 3rd January! Somebody in CIC is working hard. 10 months even with those doc issues...not bad!

Our application submitted March 30th. Everything went well.. Then they requested an updated police certificate Nov 2, submitted Nov 17, Eligibility went back to processing but never heard anything after that

By the way, would be able to share dates when your eligibility and background check completed?

Our application has been frustrating as we never received standard notifications like others.. Only request e-mails.

We NEVER received the Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), the Sponsor Approval (SA) nor the eligibility and background completed e-mails.
