Nothing new for us. We mailed the police certificate request to Hong Kong Police yesterday. Hoping the IRCC will give us an extension.
It’s incredibly frustrating. My whole life I’ve avoided feeling hatred; but that is often what I feel now when thinking about the faceless people at IRCC controlling my life.

Don't lose hope - it takes time - the government website still says 12 months at least - everything that is meant for us will reach at its due time.

13 months for processing time as of July 2023 for spousal sponsorships outside of Quebec.
*Processing times refer to the time in which 80% of applications were finalized by IRCC.

I knowwwww. It sucks being away from your spouse, i really miss my son. Trust me i check my mail like 10 times and status twice daily. Its like life is stopped. Even applications from June 2023, are stuck in London office with no sign of progress.
