Thank you for your interest in coming to Canada. I have reviewed your temporary resident visa
(visitor visa) application and supporting documentation to assess whether you meet the
requirements for a visitor visa (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/
services/visit-canada/eligibility.html). This includes assessing whether you are coming to Canada
temporarily for the reason(s) you describe in your application. I have determined that your
application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
(IRPA) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/index.html) and Immigration and Refugee
Protection Regulations (IRPR) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
index.html). I am refusing your application.
• I am not satisfied that you have truthfully answered all questions in the documents you
have submitted in support of your application, as required by subsection 16(1) of the IRPA.
Specifically, I am not satisfied that the following information is truthful: Client did not declare her
refusals.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.

I don't know what to do, I am shocked. I'm a retiree....and The death of my mother was untimely and tragic. But I don't get it why my application was rejected. All my blood relatives are in Canada they will support me once i get there.... We though when its an emergency its easier to have a visa approve, The only reason i want to go to Canada are to visit the funeral and have a bit of family bounding. i would be coming back home after 2 months.... I don't get it why my application was refused. Should i have attach our family pictures? Should i have declared that my husband is a PWD, that I will be coming be flying back to take care of him? I don't get it, its taking a very hard toll on me.

This is the problem:
"Specifically, I am not satisfied that the following information is truthful: Client did not declare her

if you had applied to Canada,US, UK etc and had refusal and didn't mention them in the application. They think you lied to them. Fortunately for you, it looks like they don't ban you for 5 years for misrepresentation.

So sorry for your loss. You were refused because you didn’t declare past refusals. Have you applied for permits before for Canada or any other country? If so lucky you didn’t get a ban.

My condolences on your loss.

Do you have a previous visa refusal that you didn't declare in your application? It sounds like this was one of the main reasons for the refusal.

The Only country i have visited was New Zealand last Dec 2018 - Jan 2019, but my daughter was the one that processed my visa, Its was smooth sailing for my part. Last visit in Canada 2007 (as a tourist) and 2008 (To visit my father who died with cancer/funeral). Ill be asking my elder sister about this. Hoping to find answers, because of this REFUSAL, I cannot attend on time the funeral. Ill update this soon.

Also, my son who is my legitimate representative is the one that's typing and I'm the one who is saying what he will type. Thank you so much for your help.

It will be more intriguing and double heart ache, if they will ban me, because of this "Client has not declared past refusals. " Only New Zealand Dec 2018 - Jan 2019 and Canada 2007 and 2008. Ill be asking them about this. and Ill update this, once I get more answers.
