I have a simple question regarding obtaining a Closed Work Permit on the border by flag polling. My wife is on an Open Work Permit because I am a Ph.D. student. She got a positive LMIA and a job offer. She is in Canada now and also has a Temporary Resident Visa, so she can travel out of Canada and come back. We applied for an extension of my study permit and her open work permit, so we are now on the implied status and waiting for the decision on our applications. The question is, can she do flag polling on the border to activate her Closed Work Permit?
