Before moving permanently to Canada and after becoming PR, I only visited Canada for 3 years and 2 of those years I was in Canada for 7 days each max and in 3rd about 3.5 months. I am apparently not required to file taxes in Canada from a tax perspective for those 3 years in the past but apparently I am required to, from immigration perspective like PR renewal and citizenship. That kind of stuff. Is this info correct?
