My LPP completed on the 1st of May, and I received the invitation for the Oath Ceremony today, the 3rd of May. It's scheduled for 17 May, almost exactly 5 months to the date I submitted the application.

For those who recently received LPP, things are looking up. For those who are still waiting, what helped me was to go out and hike, for those who enjoy waiting won't have to wait to enjoy.

It's been a real pleasure, ladies and gentlemen!

PS:

Just got webform response, but useless, since I wasn't provided any reason as to why the delay other than my application is still "in-process". Honestly, at this point I think 'Sauga office is finding every excuse in the book to delay applications while other offices are actually better in responding atleast.

I feel so unlucky to have landed my application with this office. :(
Web forms are useless. I asked a very specific question about travel during the process and they get back to me with the same, "everything is going well" generic response. Waiting for oath since March 9. Frustrating ordeal considering people who applied in Jan and even Feb have received oath invitation.

And BTW I don't think it's because of the office, it's just pure random. My file is possibly at montreal based on test email.

Have applied for ATIP and GCMS. Know that It won't be of any help, but what else can we do?.

Question to Family Applicants:
is your LPP done for all the family members on same day ? or LPP done to primary applicant and then later to spouse , kids ?
It depends. For me, Bg and LPP are still in progress while, for my spouse, everything completed on April 10.
