Can I get PR as an independent contractor.

I've worked in BC as an independent software contractor for an Irish company for 2 years currently. I'm on my second work visa. Is it possible to get PR now or will I have to get a new job and build up my experience? Thanks

What PR program? If Express Entry, if you are eligible then yes. If company isn’t Canadian and you don’t get T4 slips then your experience counts as foreign experience.
