At the end of June 2022, my wife will have 1-year full-time Canadian work experience in NOC B (1311 - accounting technicians and bookkeepers). Currently, she is on an Open Work Permit because I am a student, so because of her work permit type, she is not eligible for Alberta Advantage Program. The company she works for is ready to make an LMIA for her. If she gets LMIA with a closed work permit, will she be eligible to apply for Alberta Advantage Program immediately, or she has to work for one more year with LMIA? Thank you!
