the CanadaVisa Team - 26 May, 2011
The Taipei visa office will permanently stop all operations on June 17, 2011. Residents of Taiwan will still be able to apply for Canadian immigration and new applications can be submitted to the Canadian visa office in Hong Kong. Applications for Canadian immigration programs that have not yet been finalized in Taiwan will be transferred to the Canadian visa office in Hong Kong and will be finalized there.
Applicants who have already submitted a Federal Skilled Worker application to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia and who have indicated Taipei as the visa office on their forms will have their applications automatically transferred to the Hong Kong visa office.
