Saskatchewan has postponed the Entrepreneur Immigration draw that was to take place today, November 7.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) said it will hold the draw December 5, 2019, to accommodate program criteria changes and system updates.
The SINP's Entrepreneur Sub-Category operates on an Expression of Interest (EOI) basis. An EOI is not an application but is instead a way for foreigners to signal that they would like to do business in the province.
Those interested must indicate their interest in living and owning a business in Saskatchewan by providing information about their entrepreneurial experience, assets, and Business Establishment Plan, among others.
Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be accepted into the EOI candidate pool, where they are ranked using Saskatchewan’s points grid.
December’s draw will be the last one held in 2019. The subsequent draw dates scheduled for January 7 and March 5, 2020, are subject to change.
