Saskatchewan creates new immigration and settlement portal for newcomers
The province of Saskatchewan, which has been enjoying an increase in immigrants over the last few years, has created a portal for newcomers to help them find the settlement services they need. The web portal was launched this week.
Saskatchewan has become a popular destination for immigrants to Canada because of its growing economy and availability of jobs. Largely due to the
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), the province has been welcoming a high level of newcomers, and has created an online portal for these newcomers to find the services they need.
"This new website will serve as an important gateway for newcomers arriving in Saskatchewan and will help connect them with the information, people, resources and services they need to stay and succeed in Saskatchewan," said Rob Norris, Saskatchewan’s minister in charge of immigration to the province.
