The Regina Open Door Society, in the city of Regina,Saskatchewan , works to help newcomers integrate into the workforce by providing a variety of services and creating employment opportunities.
The non-profit organization offers numerous settlement services to new immigrants in the Regina area, including courses and training that help new Canadians find employment in their new city.
Courses are designed to help newcomers learn about the Canadian employment environment and how to apply for jobs. Language courses are also offered for those who need them.
Recently, the Regina Open Door Society has also been helping immigrants prepare for employment in targeted areas where employment opportunities exist, such as home care and food and hospitality industries.
