Canadians are the most happy with their jobs, according to a recent study. The study reported that approximately two thirds, of 64 percent, of Canadians said that they loved their job or ‘like it a lot’. A full 24 percent of Canadians love their jobs so much that they said they would even work for free.

In the aftermath of the devastating typhoon that ripped through the Philippines last week, the Government of Canada has created the Philippines Crisis Fund to assist in relief and recovery efforts. Already, the government has pledged $5 million in support to humanitarian organizations working in the country. It has also pledged to match donations made by individual Canadians to registered Canadian charities.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) will be introducing a cap on application intake. From November 9, 2013 to October 31, 2014, a maximum of 12,000 applications will be accepted for review.
