The Corporate Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is now accepting applications online, making it easier for applicants to apply and improving processing times.

The OINP Corporate Stream helps and supports established international corporations looking to expand into Ontario or buy an existing business. Once the business has been successfully established, key staff are eligible to apply for a provincial nomination certificate, allowing them to eventually become permanent residents of Canada.

Successful applicants, plus key staff, receive a temporary work permit. If the terms of a Performance Agreement are met, applicants and key staff may then apply for provincial nomination under the OINP. With this nomination, they may then apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent resident status.

Under the OINP Corporate Stream, there are extensive eligibility criteria for the corporation, the investment, proposed business, and key staff. To learn more, see this page.
