The city of North Bay, Ontario, which has been applauded for its initiatives to attract newcomers, is launching an immigration information portal for newcomers to Canada.
The online portal will be accessible to immigrants and potential immigrants at all stages of the process, and will provide information on all immigration and settlement services and resources in the North Bay area. The website is set to launch on Monday, January 11.
"Ontario needs the skills and talents of newcomers to build a strong economy. This website will help attract talent and investment to North Bay," said Michael Chan, Ontario Minister of Citizenship and Immigration.
