In order to apply through this Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry category, candidates must have at least one year of work experience in one of the 11 opportunity occupations listed by the province. A job offer is not required for this category and there is no mandatory minimum CRS score.
This popular Canadian immigration category functions on a first-come, first-served basis and applicants who obtain a nomination from Nova Scotia are awarded an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. This leaves these candidates well-positioned for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in a future federal Express Entry draw.
