The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program is now open for new Expressions of Interest from eligible foreign nationals who are currently living and working in New Brunswick.
The Express Entry Labour Market Stream allows the Government of New Brunswick to prioritize eligible Express Entry candidates for a provincial nomination.
Candidates who are successful in obtaining a provincial nomination certificate through this stream receive 600 additional points toward their overall Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). This moves them to the front of the line for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in a future Express Entry draw.
The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) specified that individuals must meet all of the following criteria in order to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Express Entry Labour Market Stream during this opening:
- Have a valid Express Entry profile and Job Seeker Validation code;
- Be currently living and working in New Brunswick in an occupation classified as skill level 0, A, or B under the National Occupation Classification (NOC), and provide a letter of employment from the employer;
- Provide valid language test scores (IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF Canada) with scores equivalent to CLB 7 in all four language abilities: listening, speaking, reading and writing;
- Have a valid Educational Credential Assessment (ECA), which certifies the minimum educational credential requirement equivalent to a Canadian High School diploma.
