British Columbia issued new Tech Pilot invitations to Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration candidates in a draw held October 22.
A total of 62 invitations were issued to candidates with a valid job offer in one of the Tech Pilot's 29 eligible occupations.
Invitations went to candidates in the Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories of the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) and Skills Immigration streams.
In order to be considered for immigration to British Columbia through the Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories, individuals must first create a profile through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program's online portal and register under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
Candidates are evaluated based on factors including level of education, work experience, proficiency in English and location of employment.
A minimum provincial score of 90 was required in all four categories of the BC PNP Tech Pilot in this draw.
Express Entry candidates who receive a nomination from British Columbia will be awarded an additional 600 points toward their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and are effectively guaranteed an Invitation To Apply (ITA) in a future federal draw.
