Starting August 1, 2014, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MB PNP) will be transitioning to a new application management strategy. According to the program’s website, this strategy will reduce processing times to less than six months.
In order to implement this new strategy, as of August 1 the program will temporarily pause application intake under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. Individuals who wish to submit an application under this stream must do so by July 31, 2014 or wait until the pause is lifted in 2015. This pause does not affect individuals applying through the Manitoba Experience streams. Skilled workers applying under the Manitoba Invitation and Manitoba Employment streams are also not affected by this pause.
