The Government of Canada has issued 3,750 new invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence in an Express Entry draw held on June 25. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score was 442.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) once again used its 'tie-break' rule for this draw. The time and date was January 28, 2018 at 21:06:11 UTC. This means that all candidates with scores above 442 as well as those with scores of 442 who submitted their profiles before this time and date were issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this round.

All individuals interested in entering the Express Entry pool must first meet the eligibility requirements for one of the three immigration programs managed by the Express Entry system: the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Candidates are assigned a CRS score based on 'human capital' factors, such as education, work experience, language ability, and other factors. The CRS score assigned determines a candidate's ranking in the pool.

Candidates who received an ITA in the June 25 invitation round have 90 days to submit an application.
