The province of Manitoba is experiencing record-breaking population growth, in large part due to immigration from around the world.
This year, the province experienced the highest rate of immigration since 1971.
"People from other countries have chosen Manitoba to be their new home because this province offers good jobs and a place where new Manitobans can build a better future for themselves and their families," said Manitoba Minister of Entrepreneurship, Training and Trade, Peter Bjornson.
The province estimates that it has welcomed 13,000 newcomers over the last year, more than three quarters of which arrived through theManitoba Provincial Nominee Program
