Last week, Citizenship and Immigration Canada announced that it is making it easier for Temporary Residents in Canada to extend their stays by enabling them to fill out their applications to extend their visas online.
Beginning December 19, visitors in Canada seeking to extend their stays as well as foreign workers seeking to extend their work permits can apply to do so online, ensuring a quicker, smoother application process.
“Extending our online services to more temporary residents will significantly facilitate the application process by providing faster, more accessible and efficient services,” said Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Canada Minister Kenney.
