Canadian government announces expanded resources for immigrants

Citizenship and Immigration Canada announced today the expansion of their online resource for newcomers that will enable them to locate government services easily.

The Services for Newcomers online resource will enable newcomers to easily find the public services they need in their area, whether they are looking for immigrant language training courses or information on getting a driver’s licence.

"This can only increase their chance of successful integration within their new communities, and this is an important goal for Canada," said Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Canada Minister Jason Kenney.
