the CanadaVisa Team - 30 October, 2019
Canada invited 3,900 federal Express Entry system candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence in the latest invitation round.
The cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in the October 30 draw was 475.
The previous all-program draw had a CRS requirement of 464.
Only those candidates with a score of 475 who submitted their Express Entry profile on or before August 29, 2019, at 03:50:24 UTC were invited to apply in this round.
The Express Entry system manages the pool of eligible candidates for Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates are awarded a score under the CRS based on factors like age, education, skilled work experience and proficiency in English or French.
A set number of the highest-ranked candidates are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence through regular draws from the pool.
