An HSBC Bank International survey, entitled the Expat Experience, has found that expats in Canada have the best quality of life and report that Canada is one of the easiest places in the world to integrate with the local population.

Not only did expats who moved to Canada find it easy to make friends, but they also found that the transition to their new country and responsibilities such as finding schools for their children, setting up healthcare arrangements, or finding a house were also easy.

The quality of life in Australia and Thailand came in second and third.
